AMALYA MEIRA

Imaginative, sustainable clothing and textiles all handmade in Brooklyn, NY. With dreamlike crochet shapes and sunprinted silks, these pieces are created for the curious to love. Each piece is one of kind from the textile, down to the seam finishing. While approaching clothing as wearable sculpture, Amalya's work marries beauty and grit. The polished and exquisitely unrefined mingle through constant exploration in fabric manipulation, silhouette and upcycling. Experimental and distinctive in her design, Amalya practices zero-waste construction, and works predominantly with natural fibers. Most recently delving into housewares, Amalya created a series a of crochet recycled sari silk chair covers in collaboration with Raini Home. Additionally she was featured by Fabscrap New York as their 2022 Spring Designer, has shown at NYFW, Paris Fashion Week, Miami Art Basel and has work currently for sale in like minded shops around New York City. Amalya holds degrees from Central St. Martins, Parsons and Eugene Lang.

LOGAN BLAGG

No thread unaccounted for, Logan Blagg sees the value in all materials. With a paramount interest in sustainable production and playful envisioning, Logan’s mission is to dress forms in this harmony without contributing to the waste of the fashion industry. Logan began tinkering with fabric scraps while studying at Stephen’s College. Working in the production room of the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator further developed her process of collaging scraps to create larger moments. Recently, Logan’s trove of textiles was met with a screen of gems when her mother’s generational jewelry shop closed its doors. Forged by this new mingling of collected remnants and jewels, Logan Blagg’s clothing and accessories shine with the past, fusing retro futurism and fantasy into one of a kind pieces.
